Spring is here... but the weather continues to play tricks on you, which is why in today's feature we thought we'd offer you a drink that will make you think of soft colours and beautiful days, the hibiscus iced latte! What do you say, would you like to try it with us?

We are used to thinking of infusions as something typically wintery, but there are plenty of ways to prepare them in a fresh tasty and thirst-quenching version, ideal even during milder or warmer days.

Today, we offer some delicious alternatives for preparing an iced karkadè milk.

Let's start with a recipe that is a real treat for the eyes (for lovers of shades of pink) and for the palate: hibiscus rose latte, which we offer you in the Barley & Sage version, excellent both cold and hot.
As you may have guessed from the name, this drink combines the unmistakable taste of karkade with the delicate flavour of rose buds.
To prepare it, you will need hibiscus flowers and rose buds for infusion (2 tablespoons per cup), 120 ml of hot water, 120 ml of milk (cow's milk or vegetable milk), 1/2 tablespoon of rose water for food use and, of course, ice cubes if you want to enjoy it cold.  You can enjoy it natural or sweeten it by adding honey or another natural sweetener.
Ice milk infused with roses and hibiscus flowers is also great with the addition of pitaya (dragon fruit) powder, which you can find in a dehydrated version in our online shop.

If you like the idea of adding a fruity touch, you should try hibiscus ice milk. There is also a summery but spicy version made with coconut milk, cinnamon-flavoured karkadè and chopped strawberries to top it all off.
Or you could combine the beneficial properties of karkadè with those of red berries and prepare a Hibiscus iced latte with berries! Great, healthy and colourful.
Just think that the combination of hibiscus flowers and berries even goes well with iced coffee, try it to believe it. If you are curious, we suggest you try the recipe from Tales of Coffee.
